We are seeking an experienced Master Plumber to join our team to service, install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in commercial and industrial buildings. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of plumbing services and leading projects of various sizes within commercial environments.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with large-scale plumbing systems—including water, waste, and gas lines—and ensure all work complies with local codes, regulations, and safety standards. Key responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, troubleshooting complex plumbing issues, supervising or guiding team members, and responding to emergency situations as needed.  Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to work independently or collaboratively are essential. This position is ideal for a seasoned plumber with significant commercial and industrial experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Knowledge of operating tools such as different sewer machines, sewer cameras, and pro-press machine, med-gas certification a plus
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures within the sensitive environments of commercial facilities
  • Inspect systems for leaks, corrosion, or inefficiencies and perform troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes, OSHA standards, and safety regulations.
  • Install, trouble shoot, repair and service commercial plumbing fixtures, systems, and drains.
  • Collaborate with other team members and customers to coordinate work schedules and ensure minimal disruption to customer operations.
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship, ensuring all projects are completed to the highest quality.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; must be a licensed Journeyman with at least one year of experience and have completed four years of apprenticeship training.
  • Proven experience in commercial and service plumbing.
  • Successful completion of the Master Plumber exam.
  • Valid Drivers’ License
  • Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, codes, and safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and building plans.
  • Physical ability to handle heavy equipment, work at heights, or in confined spaces.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with steam systems, boilers, and minor re-piping a plus.
  • Med gas certification is a plus.
  • Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Commercial plumbers typically work in a variety of settings, including commercial buildings, industrial facilities and occasionally in confined or elevated spaces. The role often involves both indoor and outdoor work, sometimes in challenging conditions such as extreme temperatures or wet environments. Plumbers may be exposed to hazardous materials, heavy machinery, and moving equipment, so adherence to safety protocols is critical. The job may require travel between multiple job sites, and schedules can include overtime or emergency call-outs. Work can be physically demanding, requiring lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.

PAY RANGE:

  • $35.00 to $40.00 per hour, competitive hourly wage, based on experience
